Built on experience. Focused on execution.
My work brings together strategic thinking, technical depth, and hands-on execution — from enterprise architecture and CPQ to full-stack product development and AI-driven solutions.
About me
I am Funda Erdin, a Solution Architect and CPQ Architect with more than 28 years of experience turning complex business challenges into scalable, high-impact technology solutions.
I specialize in product strategy, system architecture, Salesforce ecosystems, and end-to-end digital transformation. My career spans large enterprises such as Salesforce and VMware, as well as early-stage companies, where I have consistently delivered measurable results in revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
I excel at building multi-year product roadmaps, designing quoting and configuration systems, and leading cross-functional teams through the full software development lifecycle using Agile and Scrum. At VMware, I reengineered the new product introduction process, cutting go-to-market time by one month, and designed an estimation pre-quoting tool that reduced sales quoting time from weeks to hours. At Salesforce, I drove a $500M revenue increase by architecting infrastructure for usage-based monetization and led multiple CPQ implementations that replaced legacy systems while improving accuracy and speed.
Throughout my career, I have combined deep strategic thinking with hands-on execution. I hold an MS in Computer Networks and a BS in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, along with advanced certifications including Salesforce Certified Data Architecture & Management Designer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and MIT programs in Applied Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation.
My core competencies include product management and new product introduction, UX/UI design and mobile applications, cloud technology, SaaS and system integration, data analytics, AI, Python, SQL, Tableau, and Salesforce CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, and Lead-to-Cash processes.
Most recently, I independently conceived, designed, and launched GreenIt — a full-stack SaaS platform built entirely by me from ideation to production. I handled everything: product strategy and requirements gathering, full-stack development, modern UI/UX design, cloud architecture, data modeling, AI-driven features, and deployment. This solo project sharpened my ability to move at startup speed while maintaining enterprise-grade quality, scalability, and user-centered design — skills I now bring directly to my consulting clients.
Whether the need is a CPQ overhaul, a new SaaS product built from the ground up, Salesforce optimization, or an AI-powered solution to drive efficiency and growth, I partner with founders and leadership teams to bring strategic clarity and technical depth to execution.
Current work
In addition to consulting, I’m building and contributing to products and partnerships that reflect the same principles I bring to client work: clarity, practicality, execution, and thoughtful use of technology.
GreenIt
GreenIt is a product I built to help people make more informed decisions by looking at both health and environmental impact. It brings together product data, ingredient analysis, and company sustainability insights in a way that is intended to be practical, understandable, and useful in everyday choices.
MenoPilates
MenoPilates is a platform I’m developing around menopause, movement, education, and trusted partnerships. The goal is to create a thoughtful digital experience that supports women with useful content, partner offerings, and a more connected path to resources during an important stage of life.
Metis Axis Partnership
I’m also working in partnership with Metis on Metis Axis, an industrial software platform designed to connect operational systems, workflows, and enterprise execution. It supports connected operations, automation, monitoring, and field execution, and is designed to help bring measurable improvement to market faster through practical, scalable industrial software.
What connects all of this work is a consistent approach: simplify what is fragmented, connect what matters, and create something that can actually move forward in the real world.
How I think about the work
- Execution matters more than presentation-heavy process
- Technology should simplify, not complicate
- AI should be used strategically, where it adds real value
- Solutions should be clear enough to implement and simple enough to scale
